New Patient appointments require a deposit of $160 to be paid at the time of booking. This will then cover cost of the appointment and you will receive a rebate of $80.10. The deposit is non-refundable if you do not show up, or you cancel with less than 2 hours notice.

Do I need to make an appointment?

Yes. We are by appointment only. You can book this over the phone on 4971 6663 or book an appointment on our website.

Can I get an appointment on the day?

We do reserve on the day appointments however these are limited. These will be dependent on availability and urgency. We do not offer Walk - In appointments.

Do you provide an after hours service?

Yes. Our after ours provider is GP access. They can be contacted on 1800 130 147. If you are experience a medical emergency after hours please dial 000

Do your Doctor do Home Visits?

We do not routinely offer home visits, however they may be available at the treating Doctor’s discretion for terminally ill patients within a 10-kilometre radius of the Practice.

I only want a script. Do I have to see the doctor?

You should have an appointment to be diagnosed of reviewed prior to getting any script. However if this is an ongoing medication and you have seen your GP recently, a script only can be requested for $30, through the link below';

Is there a fee for seeing the doctor?

We are a private billing practice and the service fee is payable at the time of your appointment.

What happens if I do not attend my booked appointment or give prior notice for cancellation?

Our policy is that a $40 non-attendance fee will be charged for general non-attendance. This must be paid prior to seeing the doctor for your next appointment. An invoice for this will be sent to you by post for payment to be made.

Do you have a reminder system?

Yes, provided you have consented to SMS reminders then an SMS will be sent to you phone a day prior to your appointment. This service is a courtesy and the absence of a reminder does not override a non-attendance fee being charged if your appointment is missed.

Can I speak with my doctor over the phone?
It is our policy not to interrupt the doctors while they are consulting.

How do I get my test results?

All test results come back to the referring doctors for review. It is our policy to contact you to come in for a follow up appointment to discuss the results ONLY if the doctor wishes to address any concerns in regards to the results or if they would like to refer you on for further investigations.

If the doctors wishes to see you, you will either receive an SMS or a phone call from the surgery asking you to book a follow up appointment with you GP.

If you do not hear anything back it generally means that the doctor has reviewed them and does not wish to follow these up with you, however it is the patients responsibility to contact the surgery to get a copy of your test results if required.

How does your practice deal with electronic communication?

Due to security reasons our practice prefers not to transit information to patients electronically, however our practice does participate in phone consultations, and these are performed at the doctor’s discretion and charged on a time-based factor in line with HIC charges for consultations. Our GPs will not communicate via emails sent to the reception email address, please call us if you have a message to pass on to your GP.

How does your practice handle patient health information?

Our practice refers to State or Territory and/or Federal legislation regarding the length of time patient health records must be kept.
